The Morocco Foundation and A Better Tomorrow have partnered to make a meaningful impact in the Azilal region, Ikharkhouden Village, and we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported “Operation: 1,000 Backpacks.” Thanks to your help, donations, and support, we were able to provide 1,000 students living in hardship with new backpacks filled with essential school supplies.
The caravan took place on September 8th – 9th, 2021, and reached out to children from various schools in the Azilal region. The students received new and clean backpacks that were filled with school supplies to support them through the beginning of the school year. Each child received their own backpack with a set of brand new supplies, including pens, pencils, glue, crayons, mini chalkboards, notebooks, and zipper cases.
The event was a great success, bringing joy and relief to the students and their families. Many of the children come from families with limited financial means, and the backpacks and supplies provided by the caravan were vital resources that they could not have afforded on their own.
We are proud of our partnership with A Better Tomorrow and our work in the Azilal region, and we are committed to continuing our efforts to improve the lives of those in need. Thank you for your continued support, which allows us to make a real difference in the lives of these students and their families.
